EBC is one of the few comprehensive web-based forums devoted to breast health education for the prevention of breast cancer. EBC was created as a service to all women. The idea to create EBC came from personally seeing the devastating effects of breast cancer, culminating in the untimely death of a dear friend. EBC is a grassroots movement that will progress with the participation of its users helping to spread the message -- this is your movement for your health and for the health of those you love. EBC is about empowering women to do all that they can for themselves to reduce or eliminate as many breast cancer contributors as possible. Knowledge empowers and women deserve to be fully supported in accessing information about breast health. We want to do all that we can to provide free and useful information to support that declaration. EBC was founded in June 2006 and has since developed into this website.
